Users now need to profess that they are not affiliated with WP Engine in order to sign up for or log in to an account at wordpress.org.
Not sure how this improves UX for anyone using .org but the sign in screen now says "WP Engine has filed a massive lawsuit." and also has a checkbox to affirm you are not affiliated with WP Engine.
