From what I understand, this might be related to your specific configuration, as the site wouldn’t have separate settings for each browser.
The main breakpoints are at 699px for switching to tablet and 999px for switching to desktop view. If your two browsers are configured differently (for example, zoom settings), they will have different views indeed.
I would recommend checking out the settings of these two apps making sure they’re similar. That should give you more consistent results.
