Changing Menu and Background Colors

Hello everyone,

I made the mistake of disabling a crucial plugin for my theme (elementor/oceanWP) when I first started on the project. I had no backup so I ended up re-enabling the plugin and it made a second home page (and deleted the old one). So now when I update the main menu colors, and background color, for my homepage it does update when I'm in the customize menu but not when I publish the new colors.

Any tips would be helpful, thank you.
