Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Currently, the plugin supports the addition of an opt-in checkbox at checkout, but unfortunately, it does not support it at account creation. However, I have pushed it to our Product team for better improvement, and they will review the feasibility of incorporating this feature in a future update.
