Doing a quick R&D on this, one of the reasons for “ckattempt=1” appearing in URL can be the use of some Web Analytics WordPress plugin.
Can you please confirm if any plugin related to it is installed and if yes try to check its setting or deactivate it for some time to see if that helps?

Thank you for your time answering/diagnose about the issue. We just recently solve this.
It was about the hosting of our website. They have a firewall feature that is something like spam filtering. We just turned it off and the “ckattempt=1” was gone.
