Found a lot of topics in this forum about your notification “The WordPress Popular Posts “classic” widget is going away!”.
I understand I have to replace my widget with a shortcode, or don’t update to version 7.0. But why are you removing the widget? The Classic Widgets plugin still has a couple of million active installs, so many users are still using the old (classic) widget page.
