I have a WooCommerce store that has been dormant for a year. I just tried to login, and apparently the password I jotted down is incorrect. So I clicked “Lost your password?” But this takes me to a 404 error page.
I’ve just been googling this, and the limited suggestions I can find usually assume that the main admin account is still accessible (i.e., they require you to fix something in your WP dashboard). But there is only one admin account in my case, and I cannot access it until I can find or restore the password.
I have a full backup of the site on my computer, but I don’t suppose the password is stored somewhere in plaintext there. Anything else I might try?
