How do I approach code splitting in wordpress? I am using a sage theme with acf. Our marketing is doing the content using the pagebuilder of ACF and as such, the pages aren’t fixed.

Why pagebuilder? If they need to update content then w created Acf flexible fields repeaters with template blocks. Users only input content, design is coming from template parts that are loaded according to the flexible fields. It is okay not to give full freedom of design for content managers, mostly it is preferred if working with bigger clients. If they need new design it goes through designer, front end developer and pushed to site. Alternatively if you want to give pagebuilder freedom then allow pagebuilder o py on certain page types. Create one generic page template with builder enabled. Rest are builder disabled with acf. Contact, homepage, blog posts etc can be like this. Headers footers etc all without pagebuilders
