Comedy Club Website (Ticket Sales)

[ad_1]

I'm trying to figure out the best way to sell tickets to comedy shows. Up to this point, I've used Eventbrite, but I'll be doing a lot of testing and optimization, so I wanted a platform that allows for more granular changes and optimization.

I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to web development, but I have designed sites on Squarespace and Wix in the past, and I was thinking I could build the site initially and then pull in dev to make tweaks based on what we test and learn on the backend.

I'll also want to have seamless integration into Klayvio (buy a ticket on site and it automatically syncs phone number and emails).

So my question is, is WordPress best? Or webflow? Or something else? Or are squarespace/wix fine for my needs?

Thank you so much!

  1. If you are running an actual business, especially one that has a brick and mortar and involves a payment gateway – hire a professional from the get-go

Having someone come in to try and work on whatever you, who self admittedly has no clue what they doing, is going to be a mess and cost you more both in time and money.

That said, when it comes to actual ticket sales, that would all depend – but if you are moving from Eventbrite, you need to decide on a ticket selling system that easily creates both virtual and physical tickets with barcodes – and then you need a barcode scanner (otherwise you are going to have people just creating fake tickets, or double your work with manually checking names etc
