I do not use WordPress as a platform for my website yet, but I’ve been following a W-based blog that offers valuable professional tutorials. It was originally run in my mother tongue, but the layout was changed to English. As a result, all the previous comments are gone. When loading, you can see the original language comments still there for a split second until the layout defaults to English. Disqus is also on.
As I mentioned, I am not the owner of that page, but I’d like to know if there’s a way to recuperate the comments, as they would probably be of much use to me. Thank you.

Are you sure your browser isn’t performing the translation? If you’re seeing the original native language initially, my guess is that’s what’s happening.
