Community help on a new Pagespeed related project requested!

Hello again /r/Wordpress users! Some of you may know me already from my gigantic [Pagespeed Optimization Guide](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ncQcxnD-CxDk4h01QYyrlOh1lEYDS-DV/) which I’ve posted here a bunch (For anyone that’s read it, I hope it’s helped!).

Many of you have asked, how can you put this type of and volume of content out for free? For a long time this has just been a passion project to aggregate all of this information into one spot, making it the de facto resource for Pagespeed optimization. Your one stop shop for Pagespeed information so that anyone can learn the facets of pagespeed information.

However, my ambitions for Pagespeed Optimization information now extend well beyond this guide since I’ve written it, and I would like to create a crazy amount of additional content which can (and will!) be monetized. The current iteration of the guide will continue to exist and be accessible for free and receive content updates, and its home will always be in this Google doc forevermore. It will be posted on a website eventually, but the Doc will always be where I do my writing for the guide, and I will update the version on the website in chunks over time for SEO purposes.

However, for all intents and purposes, this guide is simply a stepping stone to the larger project plan I’ve been planning out. The project I’ve planned out in my head will absolutely dwarf the amount of content in the current iteration of the guide (it’s currently sitting at 50k+ words and 319 pages), and I just don’t have enough time to generate all of it myself.

All told the guide has taken me 3 ½ months to write working on it on and off part time almost daily. I’ve actually always been frustrated with how short it is (yes really) and how much more information there is to convey. If I could get all of it on paper/a doc, the current guide would be a small fraction of the monstrosity I would like to create. Conceivably this project could end up containing over 1 million words.

I think the idea could be incredibly commercially successful because a comparable service does not exist (I’d be signing up for it if it did), but the upfront time investment required due to the sheer volume of content needed makes it completely impractical to implement by myself. It will have a significant amount of different monetization strategies included (I’ve currently got ~20 separate ones in mind).

If I had some sort of time chamber where I could freeze time I could solo this, but realistically it just isn’t practical. If I’m to make this project a reality, I’m going to need a significant amount of help. To put out a MVP with a fraction of the content and functionality by the end of the year would require at least 3 people, and to fully build out the platform within a year would likely take a team of 10-20.

I definitely think it will be beneficial to all involved from a knowledge perspective, but more than that I think it can genuinely be commercially successful because it will be the de facto platform for the service I’ve got in mind, and it would be quite profitable.

I’m more than happy to tutor/train anyone interested in working together on this project in Pagespeed Optimization so that it’s possible to produce quality content. I’d be glad to transfer the skills and help each other out.
