An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 782 of the file /usr/www/users/sabusnvkfm/wp-content/plugins/modern-events-calendar/app/libraries/filesystem.php. Error message: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported
This error caused our entire site to go down, resulting in loss of income, which seems totally unacceptable.
I have deactivated the plugin and at least the siite seems to be woorking again, except for the calendar.

Active theme: Divi (version 4.18.0)
Current plugin: Modern Events Calendar (version 2.8.0)
