Hello All!
I have a pair of sites (both are marketplaces) I was trying to launch built on themes; setting them up for my objectives went well enough to a point, but both have stalled out as other responsibilities have crept in, and I’m feeling it may be worth it to seek external help to finish the job–what would that entail, what would the options be?
I’m mostly making them in the interest of shoring up some deficiencies in communities I’m apart of, and I just want them to be done so they can potentially be useful to those folks and further development/polishing can respond to however it yet fails their needs. Which is to say they don’t have to be masterworks or gleaming ‘products’, they just have to be done.
Most advice I’ve found was from/for people starting something from scratch, and there seem to be clear, pre-built pathways for that. What’s not so clear and (may be) a little more ad-hoc is what to do when you’re already committed to some design, have some (I guess) “structure” already established, but not enough for a working site, nor do you know exactly what more needs to be done to have it completed.
* What kind of job is that?
* How do I find someone who might be willing to do it?
* What should I provide them to make the work/handover as smooth as possible?
* What should I be expecting in terms of cost?
**In short, I’ve got half sites and need whole ones, and aside from my own labour, what might it take to get finished?**
Thank you all so much for your consideration, and all due apologies for my ignorance in whatever is lacking in how I framed the questions/situation respective to what may have been most useful!
