Completely broken backend but debug mode doesn’t help?

[ad_1]

Hi everyone,

I was building a website on localhost and unfortunately, I forgot to back it up. At some point, the site broke, and I think it was due to an WP-Optimize optimization. Now, when I go to appearance > customize, I can’t get a preview of my website but get error messages instead in the form of a table that says “Warning: Attempt to read property “post\_status” on null in…”

Moreover, the site backend malfunctions or behaves strangely. When I go to pages, I see the list of pages but not the actions below each page (edit, quick edit, delete). I can only make it appear for each page on the list when I click on its own line from the list of pages.

The front end website is still visible but all hover actions are broken. I have a CTA on my homepage that is supposed to change color when hover it with the mouse but it doesn’t happen. I also have a menu with submenu items that should appear on hovering but it’s not the case.

The theme I use is Kadence. I use the Kadence blocks plugin as well as 8 other plugins : simply static, wp-optimize, rank math SEO, woo commerce, Health check (from WP), Kadence Pro, Kadence Starter templates, and All In One WP migration. All of that runs on localhost on an app called Local by Flywheel.

Even when I deactivate all plugins and switch to another theme (2023, 2022, or Astra) I still have the same issues : broken preview in appearance customization and broken hover effects on front end. run the health check and debug mode but no success. I also updated wordpress, and it didn’t work, so I went back to WP 6.0.1 an and version, but same issue.

Did anyone have the same issue ?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.
