Conflict with JetPack plugin | WordPress.org

Hi. I have had this issue for quite a while, and with 15 sites that all use different themes.

As we know, once we enable the SG optimizer / Environment / “HTTPS Enforce” button, the plugin ads a few lines to the .htaccess file.

What happens when a site also uses the popular Jetpack plugin is that after a few hours, or a day or two, the “HTTPS Enforce” button will be back to off position – despite the extra lines in the .htaccess file still show.

And if we use the plugin “Site Kit by Google”, we need to reconnect it since it displays a message that the URL of the site has changed.

The way around I found when using the 3 plugins together (SG optimizer + Jetpack + Site Kit), is to keep the extra lines in the .htaccess file, but with the “HTTPS Enforce” button kept to “off” in the SG Optimizer settings.

You might wish to address that conflict.
Thanks and regards,
dom
