This plugin seems to have a conflict with the popular Kadence theme. After installing a fresh copy of WordPress, I then installed the Meta Box and WP Auto Listings plugins, followed by the Kadence theme.
The generated Listings page loads just fine, but if I set the Listings page to be homepage (as my test link shows), submitting a search leads to the default WordPress search results, not just listings.
Alternatively, if I build a new page and set it as the homepage, none of the WP Auto Listing shortcodes work there and don’t appear as options in the block editor.
EDIT: I was now able to place the auto_listings_listings shortcode on the homepage successfully.
