I’m confused about setting up WordPress.
I bought my domain through godaddy.
And I downloaded WordPress onto my laptop. (It’s very strange to me and I don’t know how, setting up a website from something installed on my hard drive will work) but here I am.
If I remember, i thought setting up WordPress sites used to be all online like how Wix does it.
Because when I open install.php in the WordPress folder it created on my drivez it’s a configuration file for me to manually start entering fields. Am I then supposed to upload all or this to my domain via ftp?
I feel so newb and that this should get easier. But I’ve used wix and squarespace before but this process is ve4y different.
Any favorite links or suggestions would be helpful
