Connecting WordPress website to IoT device such as Amazon locker

For my multivendor e-commerce WordPress site, the products are dropped off and picked up at pick up box/locker locations. I need a way to link my site to the pick up box/locker system since a QR code or digit will be needed to access the correct box/locker to drop off or pickup the product. Anyone know how this could work using WordPress or had any experience with this?
