Considering changing to a WordPress real estate site, but need advice.

I currently have a real estate website with IhouseWeb. I have had the site for about 8 years. For several years it was good enough, that we were able to receive organic leads, not a ton but enough that it made sense to stay with IhouseWeb. We post regularly on our current site and have a lot of blog posts and videos. However, over the last 24 months, the site has dropped off. We have not received new leads in the last several months and our keyword rankings have dropped off. Additionally, the website performance is horrible and IhouseWeb says it doesn’t matter how fast the site performs for real estate. Finally, several other real estate agents in our town are now using Ihouseweb. With all that being said, we are considering moving to a WordPress site with Contempo’s Real Estate 7 theme and IDX. I realize it will be a ***lot of work*** on my part to bring over all the blog posts and set up saved searches but I would appreciate any input about the benefits. Would it be worth it to have better control over SEO and hosting options? Any input on items I am not considering would be greatly appreciated. I think my biggest concern is I have limited knowledge of WP. Thank you.
