EVERY SINGLE TIME that I try to work on a GoDaddy hosted WordPress site for a client, I get locked out. By that I mean I can’t access the site and I can’t access WordPress to edit and get message about being blocked on a firewall. It’s hit and miss. Sometimes works but eventually goes into this mode. I have spent hours trying to figure it out and working with GoDaddy. Why!!!??? If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. I get tired of spending hours for easy site updates.
FIX: After a lot of lost time and effort, I finally got a GoDaddy rep who was helpful. He properly configured the IP address in the firewall security plan. He says it should be a permanent fix.

Can’t say this is the case here, but I’ve run into similar situations when I’m on a VPN. Some of these hosts are blocking them completely.
Good God. I got chat support with GoDaddy. He said the firewall security plan was in the account but not configured with the correct IP address. It is supposedly fixed. But I have wasted so much time and so much time with GoDaddy to get to this point.
Get a better host. GoDaddy is trash.
