Contact form that will send a unique email header for each contact?

[ad_1]

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but after searching everywhere I am unable to find a solution.

Like most people who use email, I have my inbox set to ‘conversation view’ where emails are grouped together by sender/subject to keep things easily manageable.

However, this causes issues when my website contact form sends contact emails with the same sender/header every time, grouping all my contacts into a single conversation and making it impossible to manage replies.

Looking through the settings of the most popular forms plugins (WPforms, Contact Form 7 etc), they don’t appear to be able to send with unique headers (e.g. including a random ‘contact ID number’ or similar with each email). Am I missing something obvious, or is this just not an option? Do others not have this issue with managing contact form replies?

Thanks!

  1. Not sure which contact form plugin you use but if you are using Contact Form 7, you can customize the Subject to be:

    Website inquiry – From [your-name]

So the subject line will be different and it reflects the sender’s name of each inquiry.

Hope this is what you are looking for.
