Content image behind header on new page

[ad_1]

Hello,

I am using the “Catering” starter theme which uses the background of a main content area behind the header for a nice effect. When I imported the starter theme I edited the imported pages just fine with this effect, but I just created a new page outside of the provided content and cannot reproduce how the content area is bumped up to the top of the viewport and behind the main menu. I’ve set EVERY setting from a working page to the new page but it does not work. This includes setting the “Content Area Vertical Spacing” to none and disabling the page title for the new page. I’ve also scoured through the theme customization settings to no avail.

It’s driving me mad. I feel like I’m missing something obvious. I can’t find a setting to essentially have the content area start at the top of the page with the main menu transparent in front of it.

Here is a page with the desired effect with the brick wall behind the header:

Here is the new page where I can’t get it to work:

Any guidance is appreciated! Many thanks!
