We had a publication that utilized [paper.li]). They basically shut down services with little notice…
What we need to do…
1. Have a website where links to newsarticles can be posted. The links would have the title, generally a picture, and the first sentence or so. Basically, what you see when you link an article to Twitter or Facebook.
2. Daily we then would like to send out a version of the site to a set of subscribers. The newsletter would have a similar format that allowed people to go to the articles.
3. I would like a way to send the articles to the site through email, or SMS…or some easy way for us to add them while reading/finding the articles.
Is this possible to do with WordPress?
It’s not a high traffic site and the mailing list is about 200 people.
I really appreciate any help that we can get. We’ve been doing the publication for 12 years and basically got shutdown. Oh, this is a free publication…so we need to keep the costs down.
