This all depends on which region you are in, so I can’t really give you advice on this. I would recommend installing the Complianz plugin, the free version is great. If you go through the wizard and answer questions about your website, you will get a cookie consent banner fully integrated with Burst and many other large WordPress plugins.
If you want to make your own cookie policy, you can add the following text: “This website uses Burst Statistics, a Privacy-Friendly Statistics Tool to analyze visitor behavior. For this functionality we (this website) collect anonymized data, stored locally without sharing it with other parties. For more information, please read the Privacy Statement from Burst.”
