Please could you ensure you have fully completed the affiliate registration setup? There is a guide for this here: https://couponaffiliates.com/docs/affiliate-registration/
Ensure you have created the “template coupon” and assigned that in the settings. Learn more here: https://couponaffiliates.com/docs/template-coupon-code/
When creating pre-approved affiliates, you can add them via the “Add New Affiliate” button on the “Registrations” page: https://couponaffiliates.com/docs/manual-affiliate-registrations/
When you submit this form it will:
– Automatically create the user (if it doesn’t already exists).
– Automatically create the affiliate coupon code (copying settings from your template coupon).
– Automatically assign the user to the coupon.
– If enabled, it will then send the welcome email (“New Affiliate Account Created”) to the affiliate.
– The affiliate user can then view the affiliate dashboard for this coupon.
Regarding the user roles, in the “Registrations” settings, you can select which roles the user is assigned to upon accepting the affiliate registration (via the registration system): https://i.gyazo.com/09fc2430818af82e0d986b199115c5b4.png
If you are manually creating the coupons and manually assigning the user to it, then this will not update the user role.
