cPanel not showing WordPress | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

Hello,
My dad’s hosting has been sold to another company and they “upgraded” him (whether he liked it or not) and in doing so, he could no longer reach his website (Server Not Found). Upon further inspection, cPanel, no longer shows that WordPress is installed as an application (My Applications (0)).

The new company’s tech support is non-existent/not replying to my emails. I actually thought they’d wiped his WordPress files, but they seem to be there. Does anyone know how to get cPanel to recognise that WordPress is installed and to use the files already there without wiping it all and starting again? What’s the quickest/easiest route?

Many thanks for any help.
