Create staging site on a different server than production site

Hi,

for one of my clients I recently moved the prod site to a faster hosting provider. However, the disk space there is limited and needs to be paid extra if it’s being exceeded. So, we wanted to leave the staging site with the old host (on a different server) but this doesn’t seem to work. FYI: I do have the premium version of the plugin in use. I read this: https://wp-staging.com/docs/moved-website-to-new-server-can-not-push-staging-site/ but of course the ABSPATH is different on the other server.
