I’ve spent the past several months dealing with a problem that may be common knowledge, but I wanted to post it somewhere for anybody else who needs to figure this out. Several pages I created showed “create-your-website-with-blocks” inserted into the URL. On the page edit screen, the URL would be “Page-1”, but when published, the URL would become “/CYWWB/Page-1.”I created new pages, copied content and then deleted the CYWWB with block pages, but then it would happen again with the same pages.
Today I realized I was using a WordPress plugin that showed the tree view of pages and by organizing these pages, (which were site policy pages), under the “Home Page–Front Page,” they picked up the parent page URL. I don’t know how to change the theme home page default parent URL now, but by moving the pages out of the tree view, the CYWWB was removed from their URL.
If anybody has suggestions for how to change the theme home page default parent URL, (Premier Theme), that would be great, but at least moving pages out of that “directory” in tree page view does the trick for now.
