I am working full time but wanted extra income so was looking for part-time evening or weekend a second job for over an year and had no luck so thought to have my own freelancing web development website where I thought might help but since a month it’s live I haven’t had any leads yet. I have done the SEO for it and it’s already appearing on the first page for local results.
Is there anything I am missing out please? Thank you 🙏

Have you considered freelancing platforms such as Fiverr or Upwork?
Actively reach out to brands, find out if they dont have a website, offer one.
Hi, link? Keywords ?
If you did proper SEO and you’re really rank 1 after a month…. you should be getting leads on your website consistently 🙂
That’s how my SEO and web dev company gets leads…
If you can’t get leads for yourself what makes you think other companies will trust you to get theirs?
Where Is the website in Google?
Local searches are usually low-volume, plus the local map pack with listings can “steal” clicks.
How many visitors you get on your website?
Also, maybe if you want to work freelance you can also open a Google Business Profile as well, you are already targeting local area so that would be free.
Also, something I don’t see often is using the free GBP website, for some weird reason.

All you need is a social push!
Since you need to create a personal brand in order to get leads, I would recommend you to create content based on your niche/interests in social media.
If you can DM me I can explain in detail!
