Hey fellow Redditors! I recently set up a staging site for my website using a subdomain and the WPvivid plugin to push and pull content between the staging and live sites. My live site is integrated with Google Analytics, AdSense, Rank Math, Wordfence, and more.
I’m curious about the potential impact on SEO and overall site health. Will having identical content on both the staging and live sites cause any issues? Could Google penalize my site for duplicate content? Are there specific precautions or steps I should take to ensure a smooth staging process without affecting my site’s performance or SEO?

*PS – my current hosting plan doesn’t include a staging feature, so I opted for the subdomain workaround with WPvivid.*
