I’m new to building websites with WordPress. My objective is to have comprehensive guides with different sections/pages that contain timeless content on my website. I don’t want a guide to be just on a single page, I want it to be in different pages and then add a navigation menu or something like that. I’m a bit confused about whether I should use pages or posts for this purpose, and I’d love to get some advice from experienced users.
My main concerns are:
1. **Pages vs. Posts:** Since the content in my guides will be evergreen and not time-sensitive, I’m leaning towards using pages rather than posts. Can I effectively use only pages and organize them hierarchically to create guides with multiple sections?
2. **SEO Impact:** I’m also curious about how choosing pages over posts would affect the SEO of my website. Will using pages for guides have any positive or negative impact on search engine rankings?
