I need your help. I am trying to piece together a few plugins and am hoping someone has experience doing this and can provide a better solution that what I’ve come up with.
I am running a competition. I want Teams of 2-4 to register on my site, complete with usernames and passwords on my website. My idea was that one person would enter all 4 names and emails into a registration form and the site would recognize them as a team. That team would then have access to submit one entry for the competition. I see that WPForms is good for creating a contest for 1 person, but do they allow for groups of people? How do I limit the email conversations at the group level?
Here’s a scenario in case what I wrote was hard to follow. Nick, Ted, Nancy and Linda form a group. Linda registers her team by listing their names and emails on the competition website. Each person gets an automated email requesting that each team member register on the website. The website recognizes that they are a team. When the team is ready to submit, the site will recognize that someone from their team submitted on their behalf and block the other team members from submitting.
I need to limit entries, and I’m concerned that if I allow for individual registration, I’ll get duplicate entries.
What would you do in my spot?
