Critical error after updating PHP 8.0

[ad_1]

Hi @118group.

Looks like at least one of your registered post types doesn’t have at least an empty array saved in your CPTUI settings for the “supports” section, which is a checkbox list.

If you’re able to interact with the admin settings area still, an easy way to hopefully resolve this would be to just edit and immediately save each post type again in the CPTUI settings area. The theory here is that it’d get at least empty arrays saved, instead of null .

That said, I know we’re prepping for a release on Monday, in anticipation of WordPress 6.4, and we can get a guard in place for this before then, to help with PHP8 compatibility.

Just in case you want/need to get this not fataling between now and Monday, this is the change I made in regards to the error above:

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your response. We can wait till Monday. Hopefully the release will have the fix.

Had to revert to PHP 7.4 for now. Will wait for Monday update and keep you posted.

Thanks

Welcome, and thank you for the report about it.
