Hi all, could anybody assist me in trying to get my WordPress site back online, or just getting access to the admin panel? I’m getting a critical error message on website and this on admin panel ‘There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions’. But no eMail? I can’t access anything but the database through my host.
Steps taken so far:
1 – Attempted to restore site from host backups this usually works but did not.
2- I can’t access the WordPress admin screens so had to do this on database.
Use phpMyAdmin to deactivate all plugins.
- In the table wp_options, under the option_name column (field) find the active_plugins row
Change the option_value field to: a:0:{}
Site still showing critical error.
3 – Repaired all tables.
