I see you’re requesting this because you might be running server side crons?
This is something we’re hoping to make a whole lot easier by switching to using Action Scheduler instead of WP Cron directly. We are hoping to implement this in the near future, maybe not the next release but possibly the one after. I hope this comes as good news!
