CSS code has no affect on column widths

[ad_1]

Hi!

Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

From what I can see, your table has several hundred empty columns on its right side, presumably from an import of an Excel file (where this can happen due to weirdnesses in how Excel stores the data).

As a first step, please delete all those empty columns, on the table’s “Edit” screen: First, click into the first empty column and then scroll to the right. While holding down the “Shift” key, click the last column. Then, right-click again and click the “Delete -> Delete columns” entry in the context menu.

Regards,
Tobias

Hi Tobias,

Many thanks – I think doing what you have indicated has gone a long way to sorting the problem. I’ll just play around now with column widths.

Hi,

no problem, you are very welcome! 🙂 Good to hear that this helped!

Looks much better now, indeed, and your CSS changes should now work much better!

Best wishes,
Tobias

P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress in the plugin directory. Thanks!
