Currently functioning method of editing WordPress posts/pages/CPTs on local computer as markdown?

https://github.com/mAAdhaTTah/wordpress-github-sync looked great, but isn’t maintained anymore. It had bidirectional sync with a git repository, and you could work with Markdown.
