Hey WordPress devs, I could use some help planning my next steps with a client. They have an existing WordPress site, but we are building out a fairly complex booking system, and the forms involved will need to have fields such as select fields that are populated based on results from an api call, calculations based on inputs and selections, and some conditional fields. I’ve done quite a bit of research on the big names like Gravity Forms and Ninja Forms, but my concern is really how much flexibility and customization those would allow me to have based on my needs, as well as the way they may affect the sites speed and overhead considering it’s fairly lightweight as is. I know how I would do this if I was making it from scratch, but I’d love to find the best solution for a WordPress site even though I am less familiar with WordPress and php compared to some other stacks.
