Custom Homepage for translated language

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

With TranslatePress, the plugin does not create new posts for the translated versions of the original post. However, each translated version does indeed have a separate URL. This means every page on your site will have a unique URL for each language, regardless of whether that page has been translated or not.

In regards to your question about creating a separate homepage for the RTL language version of your site, this should be possible with the correct setup. You would simply translate the content of your homepage into the RTL language using TranslatePress, and it would automatically get a separate URL.

So when a user changes the language from the language switcher on your homepage, they would be directly taken to the translated (RTL) version of the homepage. However, we do not recommend creating two different homepages, because then each one will have an RTL version for the additional language. You just need to stay with one homepage and translate it to additional language.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best Regards,
