Custom HTML block inserted into footer – behaves as expected on all posts and pages except homepage, where it doesn’t show up.

Per the title, I added a custom html block to the footer template and it appears everywhere it should, except the home/landing page where it doesnt show up at all. It’s as if the code block isn’t there.

I am open to the idea that it could be a different footer, however, when I go to the theme editor and click on the footer on the homepage, the code is present.

Any thoughts?
