Background:
- Created Graphic Design Posts as CPT (Show in REST API = true)
- Created Graphic Design Keywords as Taxonomy (Show in REST API = true)
- Using Members -> Roles to assign capabilities
The Author role has been granted Manage Categories. It can see the Graphic Design Keywords menu, add and edit the keywords directly. The keywords do not show up under Quick Edit for a post nor in the right sidebar of Gutenberg.
The Administrator can see the keywords in both places. Do you know of the capabilities I need to grant for the Authors to be able to see the keywords in Gutenberg?

Solution: The capability the Author role needs is the Edit Posts capability which opens up some other issues for me to fix.
