I was working on a site yesterday which uses a block theme. I went to head to the “Customise” section (/wp-admin/customize.php) to change the favicon and add some additional CSS, and the button has just disappeared from the menu on the dashboard. It only re-appears if I switch to the default theme, but it’s very strange as there had been no theme updates since I saw the button only a few hours prior, and it is still missing if I deactivate all plugins. What’s strange is, I can access the page by manually typing the URL, and everything works perfectly, it’s just quite awkward and weird that the menu item is no longer there!
Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening?
