I’m not sure what exactly happened with the customizer since the 6.6.1 update. I got an e-mail stating my website was updated to 6.6.1 last night now the customizer is missing half of the settings. Also, the little blue squares you click to edit different parts of the theme no longer work.
When I originally updated to 6.6 the payment plugin stopped working so I reverted to 6.5 for a few days until it was fixed. Now I can’t edit parts of the website I need to edit because half of the settings are missing and the blue boxes don’t work.
I just want to revert back to 6.5 but is there a way to keep WordPress from automatically/forcibly updating? I have auto update turned off but the 6.6.1 updated anyway. Is there a way to turn that off? So far 6.6 has been nothing but trouble, at least for my website.
