Der Support von PHP 7.4 läuft im November aus. Deshalb ist es nachvollziehbar, dass der Webhoster die Version umstellt.
Gut möglich, dass dein Theme oder Plugins nicht kompatibel mit PHP 8.1 sind. Ohne Website-Bericht können wir das aber nicht beurteilen.
