Hello,
One of my clients needs a dedicated hosting server for their website, and I’m unfamiliar with dedicated hosting platforms. I have a few questions:
1) Which dedicated platform should we choose?
2) Do dedicated servers provide email IDs with storage space?
3) Which service provider is best for dedicated servers?
Any other suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Do you need VPS or a bare metal server?
Vultr has nice options but Hetzner is one of the first choices. Avoid using Contabo
What are the requirements for a server? More power or separating services?
Can you explain number 2? What are storage spaces with email IDs?
I agree you should give more about your requirements…. With you asking question #2, seems like you don’t know much about servers, so you may THINK they need dedicated when they could get by with a VPS.
There is a big price difference, so best to get your plans laid out before a purchase. If you go with a VPS, most of the time you can easily increase resources if you find you need them, a true dedicated server, requires downtime to physically change hardware (or the fun of moving to a different machine)
For reference, i have a client that used to pay $350/month for a dedicated server. they now get by with an $80/month VPS.
You find may more suggestions in /r/webhosting
try “popacloudhost.com” managed dedicated servers with container based web hosting. Ready with control panel ,waf etc and still affordable.
Hetzner if you need something beefy, fast with good network. (up to 96 thread servers with nvme raid and over 256 gb ram)
Or just a VM somewhere at Digitalocean, Linode, Hetzner, Vultr or equivalent if a VM would do.
I’ve been very happy with Linode for a very long time.
OTOH, it’s absolutely bare metal. you’re on your own for email and everything else except DNS.
On the other hand, downtime has been measured in minutes over decades and performance has been phenomenal.
This is a VPS (Virtual Private Server) with dedicated (permanently allocated) disk, cpu & memory . If you actually need dedicated as in “I own this piece of actual hardware”, I have no idea who to recommend.
Sounds like you shouldn’t be advising your client on this decision 🙂
I suggest Vultr or Hetzner. Both have quality equipment, and support. I do warn you to stay away from Contabo.
