Deleting Transients Might be my solution…

WordPress + Woocommerce

Problem: Added new products, they were complicated so I duplicated and renamed.

Now all those products are showing up with the name they were cloned from, even though they are correctly named in the all product list. Research leave me to believe that deleting transients might be the answer.

Am I correct in this?

I am in the dark here a bit because our coder was just fired.

EDIT: thanks for the down vote, that’s REALLY helpful.

EDIT EDIT: Solved, human error on my part.

  1. Dig into the products to see if a name is still within it. Also make sure you change the permanent and that they are not setup as a global item.

  2. Screenshots? URLs? No, this isn’t related to transients, something else is going on here. But your post is light on details, so it’s impossible to help.

  3. Change the name of the product and the url or permalink as well. And then check if there are any SEO plugins that handles the title and other important tags.
