Detecting custom vs page builder website

[ad_1]

Hi, how do you know if one used a page builder/theme or not? I used https://wpdetector.com/ and it seems to work fairly well, will Even let you know what child theme is used, but say for this site: https://whitepinedentalhealth.com/, it says it’s all custom.
The site seems pretty basic, but can someone use a page builder/theme and then change the names so that it appears custom/built from scratch? Thanks!

  1. View the page source. Even if someone has changed a theme name, but is using a builder, the classes and IDs are a dead giveaway. For Divi for example, look for et_ in the source. Elegant themes be using that all over the place. The same goes for all builders. They have identifiable classes that can let you know what builder was used. Even Gutenberg does this.
