I’m creating a website for the first time and I downloaded a plug-in for the shipping section which seemed to work well but it caused a bug on the homepage. I reached out to the developers (Trident technolabs) and they said they’d look into it but if I share my hosting and admin details they can fix it quickly. Is this normal to do?

Do not share your hosting login!! Never!
Only share admin details on a staging site (testing copy), not your actual live site.
And same goes for FTP, only share access to a separate account on staging.
