Note – I do recognize that completions are shown on the page displaying the list of automations.
The request is to have that data available in the logs as well.

The additional records that appear is because they have information about the trigger or action that has been executed.
You have options in the settings to automatically delete the logs, in this case only the logs of when the automation has been executed will remain.
This option you can see it from AutomatorWP->Settings->General Settings
