So I built a site with Elementor Pro for a school project on a subdomain, backed it up through the all-in-one-WP-migration plugin and then moved my main domain to a new server (off of the school server to one I paid for hosting on). Then, through cpanel, I installed WordPress in a directory that would hold that site, installed the backup plugin on it, and uploaded my backup file.
The problem is, only the homepage shows. It shows properly and the other pages theoretically exist according to the WP dashboard, but trying to visit or edit them brings up a WP error saying the page was not found (not a 404. It brought up a 404 both on this directory site and my main domain previously, but I contacted my hosting service’s support and they fixed that).
I tried changing URL through Elementor tools from the old address to the new one with all sorts of different configurations, but none worked. They all brought up the message that “0 lines were changed” (in Hebrew, so I might have mistranslated a tiny bit).
This all applies to another site project that I moved to a directory through the same process, except that one was hosted on my main domain at the time I made it IIRC. Same issues and attempted solutions etc. What should I do? I CAN move them to subdomains, but I’d rather not. I also don’t know if the second site I mentioned would work properly on a subdomain considering the backup came from my main domain, I don’t really know how that works.
Oh, and my main domain (my portfolio) works just fine. What do?
EDIT: preferably in laymans terms, I don’t know my way around the technical side of website building too much.

Could be an htaccess/permalink issue? Did you save the permalinks on the new site?
